(To those unfamiliar with both terms)

Let's Play: An interactive guide/play through of a game. (A good example would be the LPs done by the Something Awful forums or what MasterLL does on YouTube)

DRAMATIQUE: A creative critique and humorous play of a good game OR a thorough but humorous thrashing of a bad game.

So xploders, what game shall we play?

Systems: "PSX", PS2, PS3, "GameCube", Wii and XLcrapBOX360. We also have a DS but we have no idea how to screen capture that.

For this run, I figure either FFX or Dead Space as both have ludicrous plots but decent game play, but feel free to suggest otherwise. Suggest challenges as well (100% completion, a challenge run, etc. Just nothing retardedly grind-happy, we got lives too.)

Although I don't do LPs or crap like this. Doesn't work for every game (emulators and whatnot) and you can just use a camera, but it's annoying as hell and you need a tripod.

Besides, the best I've seen out of these, always...I repeat always, comes from I Wanna Be The Guy. You can hear the people slowly going insane after each death and R to restart...their suffering, swearing...it's freaking hilarious.

oh and from what I've seen, MasterLL does mostly normal videos and such (it's somewhat sad I automatically know who you're referring too)

Gamecube has nothing good to LP, Wii tambien. With my modded Wii we could do SNES crap, and the GBA has no hassle for such, but the only things there are easy games...unless you wanted to crack out game hacks.

Actually, I lied, Luigi's Mansion is virtually perfect for this. It's simple, short, you can do a 100% challenge (only hard when facing Boolusus), just missing a good way to record it. Only other problem is the game is too old and nobody will care.

Ah yes, game hacks, those are also great for humorous thrashing. Awful Fantasy VI anyone? Just any full game hack works well. (obviously not the shit I've done with FFVI) of course there's all sorts of shit out there, here's a few examples:

Still it'd most likely be best to do something new, as in, VERY new. The Kirby Super Star Ultra videos I put up got very popular because I put them up almost a week after the game came out (it only takes a little under 3 hours to beat anyway) Well, that's all.

My god. have you even heard of The Dark Id? Obviously not, because you dare call LetsPlay crap. I'll direct you to one of his playthroughs and you will see whats what.
